Happy summer solstice

Hope you are all doing well this midsummer! Here in Norway, we have long traditions of lighting huge bonfires one of these nights. You can often find them all through the fjords and down by lakes, where people gather together and have a great time. We often have our own private campfire in the garden. We live quite remotely, so usually the cats are the only ones which joins us in the celebration. It’s quite peaceful and beautiful really. My dream is to dance all summer night in brightly colored dresses!

We call it a “Sankthansbål”
