Old norse yule at Stiklestad

Just before christmas we got to visit the christmas market at Stiklestad, which is an open air folk museum with all kinds of old norwegian buildings. They also have a section with reconstructed viking houses. Most of the other houses are old, and were moved to the museum to show off how people lived and built.

Sadly the snow had yet to arrive, but it was a cozy athmosphere nonetheless.
Grab your lantern and come join me for a tour if you want 😉

I got myself a green one! To join my growing collection of green “nisse”.
