Glorious garden days

It is not often it happens, but sometimes, summer feels just right! Life in the deep fjords of western Norway is lush, green and mild, but it comes at a price. We do have quite a lot of rain, and sometimes wind. Sometimes it rains constantly for weeks, but usually the weather is rather diverse, allthogh we rarely have prolonged periods of sunshine. Also because of all those mountains, we do not always see the sun all that much. I often think of us as some kind of west-coast vampires, we thrive with a clouded sky, and the sun often feel a bit too intense and burning 😉

But some summers are really quite perfect. Temperatures in this area is usually quite comfortable. Occasionally, weather even gets warm enough to go swimming, reasonably comfortably. Personally I just love those golden summer mornings!
